This 100-inch Hisense E7 Pro TV was mounted at a customer’s converted shipping-container office in Barking, IG11. Dark MDF covered the plasterboard wall, and a full-motion bracket already on site, combined with the required screen height, meant a different approach was needed around the existing power socket.

The key challenge was fitting a 100-inch television at the customer’s exact required height without blocking the existing power socket. The bracket choice and mounting position therefore had to be worked out together, with careful setting out needed to keep the screen centred above the cabinet and maintain access to the socket behind it.
Before booking, the bracket had been described as flat. Onsite, we found a One For All full-motion model. After assessing the screen, wall and position, we advised that it was not suitable for this installation and supplied a fixed TV bracket instead. This decision was specific to this wall and television.
The first fixed-bracket option would have covered the socket at the requested height. We changed it for a VonHaus fixed bracket with an open centre, leaving the socket unobstructed rather than covered by the wall plate.
The customer wanted the screen centred above the cabinet, with its bottom edge 80cm from the floor and 10cm between the bottom of the television and the top of the cabinet. Pencil marks were difficult to see against the dark MDF, so masking tape was used to establish clear measurement and drilling lines. The bracket arms then needed several adjustments to achieve the exact height.
The finished screen sits centrally above the cabinet, with the socket positioned within the bracket’s open centre. TV Mount Mate completed the installation, with one of the customer’s onsite workers assisting only with the final lift.

A gap of less than 1cm stopped the power connector passing behind the plasterboard. TV Mount Mate removed the television, formed a measured channel, ran the cable in a protective sleeve, then filled, sanded and painted.
A previously mounted 85-inch Samsung Frame Pro would not hold its selected angle. The existing bracket was inspected, corrected and retained at the customer’s request.
The old TV and flat bracket were removed before the LG flush bracket was aligned to the wall centre and the existing lower access adapted for concealed power and HDMI.
