A good soundbar installation is not just about fixing it under the TV. It needs the right position, the right bracket, the correct connection, and a quick sound test before the job is finished.
TV Mount Mate installs soundbars across London, Essex and Kent. We can mount the soundbar to the wall or attach it to a suitable TV bracket, connect it using ARC/eARC or optical, and plan the cable tidy around your wall and room layout.
Available with TV mounting service, cable concealment, TV setup, or as a standalone soundbar visit.
Every installation is planned around your TV, soundbar, wall type, and viewing setup to ensure everything looks tidy, works properly, and is tested before we leave.
We check the gap below the TV, remote sensor position, and viewing setup before drilling.
We check whether your soundbar needs a wall bracket, TV bracket adapter, or brand-specific mount.
We connect the soundbar using the best option for your TV and soundbar.
We check the TV sound settings, volume control, and sound output before we leave.
We look at the wall type, power cable, and device cables before deciding the neatest route.
We set up the soundbar with connected devices such as Sonos, Sky, Apple TV, games consoles, subwoofers, or rear speakers when they are part of the job.
Some soundbars are best fixed directly to the wall. Others work better attached to the TV bracket, especially if the TV is on a full-motion swivel arm. If the TV pulls out or turns, a TV-mounted soundbar can move with the screen instead of staying behind.
We check the TV bracket, soundbar bracket, wall type, and cable route before drilling anything, and advise on which option suits your setup.
Modern TVs and soundbars can be confusing because the soundbar often needs the correct HDMI ARC or eARC port to work properly.
We check the TV audio settings, connect the right cable, and test the sound before we leave. We also check the TV remote volume control, so you are not left with a soundbar that is mounted neatly but not working properly.
For Sonos, Samsung, Bose, LG, Sony and similar systems, we check the app setup, sound settings, subwoofer pairing, rear speakers, and connected devices as part of the visit.
Many soundbar issues come down to incorrect setup, unsuitable brackets, or poor cable planning. These are some of the most common problems we resolve.

Soundbar cables can often be planned with the TV cable route. On plasterboard walls, suitable cables can often be routed through the wall cavity after the route is checked. On brick, chimney breast, or solid walls, neat low-profile trunking is usually the cleaner option.
Power cables and larger adapters are checked before we decide the best cable route. We will not force a large power brick into a space where it does not fit safely.
Our lead installer holds a Level 2 Electrical Installations qualification and follows safe working practices when checking cable routes before drilling.

Ovais Khan left a 5-star Google review after TV Mount Mate mounted his Samsung S95F TV and Samsung soundbar in E5.
He said communication was clear and helpful, the sound system and TV mount were set up perfectly, the screen positioning was spot on, and the installation was clean and professional.
“The screen positioning is spot on.”
This is the kind of detail that matters with soundbar installation. The soundbar needs to look right, work properly, and be tested before we leave.
Answers to common questions about soundbar mounting, cable management, brackets, and audio setup before you book.
Yes. Soundbar installation can be booked with TV wall mounting or as a standalone soundbar visit. We check the wall, bracket, cable route, and connection before starting.
It depends on the TV setup. If your TV is on a full-motion bracket, attaching the soundbar to the TV can be better because the soundbar moves with the screen. If the TV is fixed flat to the wall, wall mounting the soundbar often works well.
We check the soundbar model and bracket before drilling. Some soundbars have bottom screw holes, rear fixing points, or brand-specific brackets. If the bracket is wrong, we will explain the issue and advise before fitting anything.
Yes, in many cases. We check the TV size, bracket type, wall type, and space behind the TV first. Sometimes the TV can stay on the wall. Sometimes it needs to be lifted off safely so the soundbar bracket can be fitted properly.
Yes, often. On plasterboard walls, suitable cables can usually be routed through the wall cavity after checking the path. On brick, chimney breast, or solid walls, neat trunking is usually the better option.
Some soundbars have bulky power supplies that need extra planning. We check the space behind the TV, soundbar, or media unit before deciding the best cable route. We will not force a large power supply into a space where it does not fit safely.
Yes. We check the correct ARC or eARC port, TV audio settings, soundbar output, and TV remote volume control. We also set up optical connections, Sonos app setup, subwoofers, or rear speakers when they are part of the system.
