This 77-inch LG G6 OLED was installed in a Victorian flat in Frognal, NW3. TV Mount Mate removed the previous television and flat bracket, then fitted the new screen using its LG flush bracket. The power lead and one HDMI cable were concealed for the customer’s AV system.

This project involved mounting a 77-inch LG G6 centrally on a plastered brick chimney breast while keeping the screen close to the wall. Precise bracket alignment and an adapted former fireplace opening were used to achieve the correct position and conceal the power and HDMI connections.
The customer wanted the television precisely in the middle of the wall. With a close-fitting LG bracket, there is little room to correct the screen position after mounting. We found the exact centre of the wall, measured the centre of the bracket and aligned both points before fixing it in place.
A lower opening from the blocked fireplace provided access for the cable route. An existing hole was available, but it was not large enough to feed the connections cleanly after the television was hung. We carefully enlarged the access with a hand saw, then fished the power lead and one HDMI cable through to the customer’s AV system. The LG G6 now sits centrally and close to the wall, with no power or HDMI cable hanging below the screen. This project shows why a large TV installation is not only about lifting the television: bracket geometry, measurements and the available cable route all have to work together.

A previously mounted 85-inch Samsung Frame Pro would not hold its selected angle. The existing bracket was inspected, corrected and retained at the customer’s request.
A 100-inch TV mounted above a fitted cabinet after the original full-motion bracket and existing socket created a conflict at the required height.
A gap of less than 1cm stopped the power connector passing behind the plasterboard. TV Mount Mate removed the television, formed a measured channel, ran the cable in a protective sleeve, then filled, sanded and painted.
