What is possible comes down to the available cavity or route, the power and connection requirements, and the final TV and soundbar position. Some walls allow cables to be concealed completely, while others suit a tidy surface-mounted finish.
If a soundbar is being fitted, its spacing is planned alongside the TV position rather than afterwards, so both can be placed at the correct height.
