This 65-inch LG G5 was mounted in Royal Wharf, E16, using the original LG flush bracket supplied with the television. A new recessed power socket was installed behind the screen because the customer wanted the television to sit close to the wall with no visible trailing power cable.

This Royal Wharf installation involved mounting a 65-inch LG G5 OLED on a dot-and-dab wall using the television’s original LG flush bracket. The screen was positioned for the main seating area, while a recessed power socket behind the television allowed it to sit close to the wall without interfering with the bracket or the existing connection plates below.
The television was centred on the main wall at a height chosen for the sofa opposite, while keeping the existing lower sockets and connection plates accessible.
The proposed fixing positions were assessed before installation. The wall was suitable for the original LG bracket to close correctly without spacers or additional packing.
A recessed socket was installed behind the television so the power connection could remain hidden and would not obstruct the close-fitting bracket.
The LG G5 now sits centrally and close to the wall, with its power connection concealed behind the screen and the existing lower wall connections left visible and usable.

The original Samsung Slim Fit mount was suitable, but an uneven wall surface first had to be sanded so the Frame could sit flush. Four GripIt fixings were used, with the One Connect box housed inside the cabinet.
Five fixing points through new dot-and-dab plasterboard into solid block, with a central power point, three concealed HDMI routes to a Sky box, Apple TV and Sonos Beam, and the screen centred within decorative wall moulding.
Four LG-supplied fixings entered the concrete block and two metal plasterboard fixings completed the bracket layout. The existing socket was recessed to preserve the G6’s close-to-wall finish.
