This Northwood installation involved mounting a 65-inch LG G5 OLED and matching soundbar on a black brick feature wall. A fixed bracket with spacers was used to keep the existing socket accessible while achieving a neat, close-to-wall finish.

65-Inch LG G5 and Soundbar mounting
This project involved mounting a 65-inch LG G5 and matching soundbar on a brick feature wall while keeping the existing socket usable. A fixed bracket with spacers provided the necessary power-supply clearance without compromising the neat, close-to-wall finish.
LG G5 TVs are normally set up with LG's own flush bracket, which sits the screen right against the wall. In this room, the customer wanted to keep using the socket behind the TV. A true flush setup would not have left room for the power supply, so a different approach was needed.
The wall and bracket position were checked first. Instead of the LG flush bracket, we used a fixed One For All bracket with spacers, giving enough gap behind the screen for the power supply. The brick wall was drilled with a Milwaukee hammer drill and Fischer plugs, and the TV was levelled with care. The LG soundbar was then fitted below, and all connections were tested.
The LG G5 now sits neatly on the black feature wall, with the soundbar fitted below it. There is still enough room behind the screen for the socket to work as it should.
