This Ilford project involved mounting an 83-inch Samsung S95F securely on a brick wall while achieving a clean, close-to-wall finish. An existing socket behind the TV position was safely dealt with so Samsung’s original no-gap bracket could be fitted correctly.

Large TV wall mounting
This project involved mounting a large 83-inch Samsung S95F securely on a brick wall while achieving a clean, close-to-wall finish. Careful planning was needed to deal with the existing socket, bracket position and cable route before installation.
The customer wanted the 83-inch Samsung S95F to sit as close to the wall as possible. The issue was an existing socket in the centre of the TV position. Left as it was, it would have stopped the original Samsung no-gap bracket sitting properly against the brick wall.
We checked the brick wall, bracket position and cable route before starting. The socket was safely isolated and removed from the TV position, with the cable terminated safely before mounting. Once that was dealt with, we fitted Samsung’s ultra-slim bracket securely to the brick wall and mounted the 83-inch TV level and close to the wall.
The Samsung S95F now sits close to the wall with a clean, tidy finish. The socket issue was dealt with before the TV was mounted, so the final position looks neat from the front.
