Sky Glass wall mounting
This project involved mounting a 65-inch Sky Glass securely on an uneven brick feature wall while allowing enough space for the mains cable. A Sanus bracket was used to achieve a level, close-to-wall finish with the correct clearance behind the TV.
The customer wanted the Sky Glass mounted using its original bracket. After checking the wall and cable position, we found the mains connection needed more space behind the TV than the original bracket allowed. The brick surface was also uneven, so the bracket position had to be checked carefully to get the TV level.
We checked the wall, measured the bracket position, and looked at where the cable needed to sit before drilling. Once we saw the original bracket would not leave enough clearance, we explained the issue to the customer and changed to a Sanus wall bracket. This gave the TV a small gap at the back for the cable while still keeping the screen close to the wall.
The 65-inch Sky Glass now sits level and secure on the brick wall, with enough clearance behind the TV for the mains cable.
