This 65-inch LG G5 OLED was mounted in Chatham, Medway, on an internal metal-stud plasterboard partition between the living room and bedroom. We used the original LG flush bracket supplied with the television. The wall was flat enough for the screen to close correctly, so no packing or surface adjustment was needed.

This 65-inch LG G5 installation involved mounting the television on an insulated metal-stud plasterboard partition, concealing three HDMI cables and completing the wall with a floating cabinet, Sonos speakers and a wooden slat panel.
The approximate two-inch insulated cavity and metal-stud construction were considered before the bracket went up. Metal toggle fixings opened behind the plasterboard, while the flat surface allowed the original LG bracket to hold the screen close without packing.
Three HDMI cables ran from behind the television to the floating cabinet. We fed them through the insulated cavity before mounting the cabinet, keeping the exit hidden once the unit was fixed.
After mounting the LG G5, we fitted the floating cabinet below it, positioned and connected the Sonos speakers, installed the wooden slat panel and completed the TV setup. This order kept the screen, cables and furniture aligned.
The finished LG G5 sits centrally above the cabinet, with the three HDMI cables out of sight and the speakers and slat panel completing the wall.
